Sometime you need to digitally sign a PDF document that has no signature block. In these cases, you will need to make a signature block yourself. Don't worry! You don't need Adobe Acrobat Pro to do this.
- In the PDF you need to digitally sign, go to All Tools > Use a Certificate. Note: you may need to click More Tools to see the Use a Certificate option.
- Choose to Digitally Sign.
- Read the instructions in the pop-up and Click OK.
- Draw a rectangle where you want to digitally sign.
- When you release your mouse button, the normal prompt for digitally signing will appear. Continue as you normally would when digitally signing.
