Sometimes the email on your CAC doesn't match your actual email address. This can be because you have been migrated from a local ONE-Net account to a cloud FlankSpeed account or because you moved from one branch of the DoD to another. To remedy this, you will need to know your current email address and then complete the below on a ONE-Net computer.
- Go to ID Card Office Online and choose "Continue" under Common Access Card.
- Log in using your CAC and verify your personal contact information for contact purposes.
- You'll then see the CAC maintenance page. Make sure that you see both the Extension Version and CMC Version boxes in green; and verify that the Email being read is incorrect. Then click Change CAC Email.
- Type in your new email and verify it. Then click Next.
- Allow the webpage to commit the changes and issue new certificates with the new email address on it. DO NOT touch your CAC or navigate away from the webpage or it may corrupt your CAC and you will need to get a new one.
Once the process completes, your CAC will match, and you will be able to send encrypted emails and send scans from MFDs to your inbox. Please note that since this reissues your certificates, you will probably need to
